These terms govern your use of the SolarKeeper website, customer portal and services provided by SolarKeeper, [registered business address] ("SolarKeeper", "we"). By creating an account or buying a plan you agree to them.
1. What we provide
SolarKeeper provides after-care for grid-connected rooftop solar systems: output monitoring, electricity bill checks, preparation and filing of complaints with your distribution company (DISCOM) with your written authorisation, cleaning and inspection visits, and help with warranty claims. We do not sell or install solar systems. Service details for each plan are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase.
2. Your account
You log in with a one-time password sent to your mobile number. Keep your phone secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be 18 or older and the owner, or authorised by the owner, of the system and the electricity connection.
3. Authorisation
For bill disputes and warranty claims we act on your behalf only after you sign an authorisation. You remain the complainant; we prepare documents, file them and follow up. Outcomes depend on DISCOMs, installers and manufacturers, and are not guaranteed.
4. Plans, prices and payment
Prices are in Indian rupees and shown before you pay, including any charge for systems larger than 3.5 kW. Monthly plans renew automatically each month through a UPI AutoPay or card mandate you approve during checkout. Yearly plans are paid once in advance. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments; we do not store your card or UPI credentials.
5. Visits and access
You agree to give our technicians safe access to the roof at the scheduled time. We may reschedule or decline work in unsafe conditions (rain, high wind, missing anchor points). We clean with soft brushes and low-water methods and do not open sealed equipment covered by a manufacturer's warranty.
6. Output guarantee
On Care and Care Max plans, if your system produces less than the benchmark agreed in writing for a reason within our control (such as soiling, loose connections or wiring faults we are responsible for fixing) and we fail to fix it within the month, that month's fee is refunded. It does not cover grid outages, new shading, weather, manufacturing defects or equipment failure, which we pursue through the warranty desk.
7. Liability
We take reasonable care in all work. Except where the law does not allow it, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Damage caused by our negligence during a visit is covered by our insurance.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel any time from your account. See the cancellation & refund policy.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms and prices with 30 days' notice for existing plans. These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Hyderabad, Telangana have jurisdiction.
