SolarKeeper processes personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Account details: mobile number, name, email, city, preferred language.
• System details: size, inverter and panel make, installer, warranty documents.
• Electricity bills you upload, meter and inverter readings, and visit photos.
• Payment records from Cashfree Payments (status, amount, method type). We never see or store full card numbers or UPI PINs.

Why we use it

To provide the service you asked for: checking bills, monitoring output, scheduling visits, filing complaints you authorise, processing payments and sending you reports. We do not sell your data.

Who we share it with

Only as needed to deliver the service: your DISCOM, installer or manufacturer when you authorise a complaint or claim; Cashfree Payments for payments; our SMS and messaging providers; and our cloud hosting providers. All are bound to protect it.

Consent and your rights

You can access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent, by writing to [support email]. If you close your account we delete your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (such as payment and tax records).

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to staff who need it, and login uses one-time passwords.
